Description
A Kodak Brownie Reflex non-synchronized camera with fixed focus and exposure. Uses 127 film for 12 exposures and the viewfinder at the top of the camera was intended for waist level use. There is also a tripod bush on base. This camera was popular for street photography.

This camera is part of the Alf Rendell collection. A photographer and camera shop owner from the 1930s until his retirement in the 1970s, Alf Rendell has captured many important images of Tauranga and the wider region. In 2016 the Toi Ohomai Alf Rendell Photography Scholarship was established.
