Description
A black leather and varnished wood, rectangular box-shaped rollfilm camera with nickel plated brass hardware. On top is a leather handle and on one side is a switch, button, dial and winder.
According to '500 Cameras' by Todd Gustavson this camera was 'the first to use printed paper backing on its film, with the frame numbers visible through a small red celluloid window that became the standard for rollfim cameras'. In 1895 George Eastman bought the right to manufacture these cameras.
