Description
A harakeke piupiu with a brown waistband. The skirt is black and brown flax.
This piupiu is one of two given to the Crabbe family pre 1919 by Mrs Kohu of the Judea Marae. It was worn by Violet Simons for the Armistice Parade in Tauranga in 1919. She was approximately 19 years of age at the time.
