Object detail

Description
A pair of kneelength pantaloons with lacing at the lower leg side. They are made of khaki coloured wool fabric. The inside leg is reinforced with patches. The side openings have three buttons and there are two fob pockets. There is a light fawn cotton belt with a brass buckle and two prongs.

It is recorded that these pantaloons were used during the First World War and may have been used by a pilot. The name Hayes is written inside. More research is required.
