Description
A tropical pith helmet that has had green blanco applied on and original white canvas. The ventilator button at the top is detachable. A leather chin strap is across the brim. Leather band inside is stamp '"Comfortease" Royal Letters Patent no 228467 Adopted by H.M. Govt'. Foil inside has stamped 'Royal Letters Patent No. 397885 7/9/33 10-15 Cooler Made in England, Coolair Aluminex, Recommended by Tropical Research Department'. Is a Wolseley style helmet.
